I couldn’t have imagined how emotional and meaningful this process would be. Irene & Jenny transformed the bracelet my husband gave me when we first started dating and my late mother’s engagement ring into the most breathtaking piece I’ve ever owned.

Honouring my Chinese heritage

My mother was Chinese and, over the years, had collected an incredible amount of traditional Chinese gold. I also had some of her costume jewellery, including stunning blue topaz pieces that always caught my eye.

Remembering my Mother's story

I gave Irene & Jenny my late mother’s engagement ring, along with a pendant I’d had made years ago from my own engagement diamond. I wanted to preserve the original style of my mother’s ring but incorporate my diamond into it—and Anita understood that perfectly.
The result is a beautifully balanced, deeply meaningful design that feels like both of us. It honours her memory while telling my own story too. The craftsmanship is flawless, and the process felt so personal from start to finish. The Legacy Book brought everything together—it’s something I’ll treasure just as much as the ring.

Three generations of female strength

I entrusted Irene & Jenny with my grandmother’s gold wedding ring, amethyst earrings from my mother-in-law, a peridot pendant from my great aunt, and the diamond from my mother’s engagement ring.
As someone who cherishes birthstones and their meanings, I wanted a piece that honored each woman’s legacy. Anita masterfully wove these elements into a stunning, modern ring that tells our family’s story.

Cherishing my grandfather's love
I brought Irene & Jenny a sapphire ring my grandfather had made for my grandmother in Warsaw in the late 1950s. It was incredibly sentimental, but the style felt too old-fashioned for me to wear.
Anita reimagined it into a modern, elegant design that still holds all its history. We engraved the names of four generations of women in my family around the band—it took my breath away.
The transformation was so thoughtful, so respectful of the original. The Legacy Book captured our story beautifully. Now, every time I wear it, I feel connected to the women who shaped me.
